In this film, I visit the areas of Schwerin where I grew up. Here I try to strike a balance between clearly showing the decay that affects these “social focal points” and a dreamy, melancholy and aestheticized view of the places that have left a lasting impression on me. An important aspect of the film work for me was above all the preservation of these places in their current state.
